I support young people with a range of presentations including anxiety, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD and autism, as well as provide tailored support in executive functioning and social skills, building coping strategies, aiding identity exploration and developing a deeper understanding into who they are.  In particular, I utilise evidence-based techniques to inform my practice and individualise my approach for each client, drawing upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and solution focused strategies. My approach also involves advocating for my clients needs and providing support and guidance to parents and teachers, when therapeutically appropriate.

I also have significant experience in providing cognitive, educational and behavioural assessments and have a keen interest and further training in Specific Learning Disorders and ADHD exploration. With every assessment I aim to hold the uniqueness and strengths of each child at the centre while providing an in-depth understanding into their current presentation that informs practical and realistic strategies that can be implemented both inside and outside the classroom.  

Overall, my hope is for every child or young person who comes to see me, leaves feeling empowered with a deeper sense of self and has developed skills and strategies that they can take with them throughout their life to support their wellbeing.
