Our Fees

At Insight Collective, we understand that seeking an assessment can feel overwhelming. Our aim is to make the process clear, supportive, and collaborative, so families know exactly what to expect and feel confident every step of the way.

All assessments are tailored to your child’s unique strengths and needs, and are conducted using evidence-based tools. We take the time needed to truly understand your child, and to provide practical, meaningful recommendations for home and school.

All assessments include:

01.

A comprehensive intake session (60–90 minutes) to understand your child’s history and current concerns

02.

Standardised assessment tools selected specifically for your child

03.

A comprehensive written report with clear explanations and recommendations

04.

A feedback session (60 minutes) to talk through the results, answer questions, and plan next steps together

Fees

Our fees are informed by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Suggested Fee Schedule (2025–2026), which lists a recommended fee of $311 for a standard 50–60 minute consultation.

Our assessment fees reflect the time, specialist expertise, preparation, and reporting involved in providing thorough, evidence-based psychological assessments. All fees are discussed with families in advance so you can make informed decisions about proceeding.

Assessment Commencement Fee

A $1,000 commencement fee is required at the beginning of the intake session to confirm your assessment booking.

This commencement fee includes:

  • The intake session

  • The feedback session

  • 4 hours of report writing

The commencement fee is deducted from the total assessment cost, with the remaining balance payable before the feedback session.
